Friends and Neighbors (FANS) of Washington Park is an all volunteer run, Registered Neighborhood Organization (RNO), and a not for profit 501(c)3 organization established in 2006. FANS advocates for Washington Park and is committed to: conservation for future generations, education for park users, and providing a voice for the park with the city.

FANS meets monthly on the second Wednesday at the Dos Chappell Bath House from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m and are open to the public.

FANS activities include monthly speakers on topics related to the park, publishing the Washington Park Tree Guide and annual Photo Calendar, volunteer activities, investing in park projects not funded by the Denver Parks and Recreation, maintaining the FANS website with current park information, and notifying and educating FANS members, and the larger community about proposed park projects and uses.
